Let your little learn how to play soccer with Le Rouge! Detroit City Football Club is hosting a Detroit City Soccer Tots season this spring at Beacon Park.

The popular local football club, DCFC, is launching a youth soccer initiative that will run from April 7 through May 26 for children aged 2-4. Littles will learn fundamentals, sportsmanship and teamwork through physical fitness and fun.

The Detroit City Soccer Tots will hold practices and games at Beacon Park in downtown Detroit on Saturday mornings from 8 AM to 9 AM. The final practice and game of the season will take place at Keyworth Stadium before a DCFC home match.

Each week, the Detroit City Soccer Tots will practice for 30 minutes under the direction of two coaches. After a five minute break, the Soccer Tots will play in a 5 v 5 game that lasts 20 minutes.

All players will receive a DCFC jersey shirt and a mini soccer ball. Parents will be provided with weekly coffee and bagels courtesy of Detroit Institute of Bagels.

Registration is $75. To register or learn more about the program visit here.

The Detroit City Soccer Tots program is in collaboration with the Downtown Detroit Partnership and the DTE Beacon Park Foundation.
