Stop by your local spot to pick up free comics—no purchase required—and enjoy special activities, giveaways, and more. Whether you’re a lifelong comic fan or just getting started, it’s the perfect day to explore new stories and join the fun!

Vault of Midnight (Ann Arbor + Detroit)

Stop by your friendly neighborhood Vault and celebrate Free Comic Book Day with your pals at the comic book shop. Every Vault location will have free comic books from all of your favorite publishers, massive tent sales, music, cosplay, vendors and more.

Baldwin Public Library (Birmingham)

Head to the library for the biggest event in the comic book industry – a single day devoted to free comic books for all ages! Get yours while supplies last.

Shelby Township Library

Comic book fans of all ages can drop in to pick out a free comic book book, draw comics, and do crafts (while supplies last). Balloon twists will be offered between 10 am to 1 pm. Those dressed in costume can enter to win a gift card to Bring Your Old Books, our generous comic book donor.

West Bloomfield Public Library

Celebrate Free Comic Book Day at the Library!  A variety of free comics will be available for you to select from. There will be a limit of two comics per person, and they will be available while supplies last. For ages 5 years and up.
