It’s rain…it’s snow…no…it’s marshmallows flying from the sky! Marshmallow Drops are a special metro Detroit tradition and you don’t want to miss out. Let the kids loose, gather as many marshmallows as possible and turn them in for prizes, candy and more!

Greenfield Village Opening & MORE
All aboard! Greenfield Village opens for the 2026 season on April 11th – members get early access on April 10th! We recommend getting a family membership for value. Not only can you visit the animals, ride the train and enjoy a trip to the past in the Village but you can check out the DaVinci Exhibition before it ends on May 3rd.

Special Seasonal Events
Hit the road and head to Grand Rapids. The 2-hour drive is well worth the visit to experience the Grand Rapids Lantern Festival at John Ball Zoo.
