Are you looking for a new way to engage your young learners? Head to the Sloan Museum of Discovery in Flint to check out 2TheXtreme – A Radical Interactive Exhibit.

2TheXtreme features 32 different stations which are organized into six themed main stations: Outdoor Action / Adventure Sports, Build Your World / Environment, Future Style / Style and Design, Kickin’ It / Entertainment, Game Plan / Game Design, Robotics and Space. Each station will encourage visitors to see how math is used in their favorite everyday activities. Some of the stations include riding in a live action snowboard race, controlling a Mars rover, designing and playing your own video game, and capturing your image in a 360-degree freeze-motion video.

The exhibit runs from February 1st – May 11th, 2025. It is best suited for ages 8 and older. Admission for Genesee County residents is $5. For non-Genesee County residents admission is $19 for adults (12 – 59), $16 for seniors, and $14 for children – ticket price to 2TheXtreme includes general admission to Sloan Museum of Discovery.
