The Michigan Science Center in Midtown Detroit is a popular destination for families and if your looking for another reason to visit, here are cool new activities and amenities to enjoy.

The Michigan Science Center is a world class hands-on museum with over 220+ interactive exhibits, IMAX Dome and planetarium. Plan a trip to explore space, learn about engineering, watch physics in action on the Science Stage and more! If you haven’t been in a while here are a few NEW reasons to plan a visit.

Late Night Friday

On the first Friday of every month, MiSci is staying open until 8pm! Start your weekend off right and enjoy some after school fun!

Electric Playhouse Travels EXTENDED

The brand new Level Up exhibit is open now through June 2023 and access is included with general admission. The star attraction is  Electric Playhouse Travels, a digital hands-free experience that promotes play with special puzzles and challenges, and will now be up until Memorial weekend.

STEM Story Time

Head to MiSci on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 2pm for Story Time and a craft in the museum’s Early Learning Space.

The Michigan Science Center is open Wednesdays to Sunday from 10am to 4pm. Admission is $14 for kids ages 2 to 15 and $18 for guests 16+. The museum is a member of the Museums for All program and families can receive $3 admission for up to 4 people when you show your SNAP/EBT card.
