It’s rain…it’s snow…no…it’s marshmallows flying from the sky! As an alternative to the Easter Egg Hunts, come check out these marshmallow drops around town. Don’t worry, the marshmallows aren’t to eat (although we can’t promise anything) – so come let the kids loose, gather as many marshmallows as possible and turn them in for prizes, candy and more!

MARSHMALLOW DROP @ Stefens Park, Fraser
Saturday, April 12 – 12am
Cost: FREE
he Marshmallow Drop will begin promptly at 12:00pm,12:45pm and 1:30pm, rain or shine. Marshmallows will drop from the sky by helicopter. Children and adults will be split into three age group categories and drop times. Families with children in both age categories can choose to participate in one drop, but it must be the 12:45 p.m. drop time. Collection bags will be provided as the children arrive. After the drop, children will exchange their marshmallow filled bags for goodie bags. Each drop will have 5 golden eggs and those who find them will receive a special prize. The Easter Bunny will also be on hand for pictures, along with a petting zoo, pony rides and face painting, so make sure you bring your camera!

MARSHMALLOW DROP @ Elizabeth Park, Trenton
Friday, April 18th – 9am
Cost: FREE
Thousands of marshmallows will be dropped from a helicopter to be turned in for a prize. There will be three separate age groups for children: 4 and younger; 5 – 7 years old; 8 and older. The event is not competitive and only one marshmallow is needed for a prize.

THE GREAT MARSHMALLOW DROP @ Worden Park, Royal Oak

Oakland County Parks announced that the 2025 Marshmallow Drop will start at 10am on Friday, April 18th at Worden Park in Royal Oak. Watch in amazement as 15,000 marshmallows are dropped from a helicopter and kids race in groups to collect a marshmallow to trade in for a prize. Kids are divided into the following groups: 4 and under, 5 to 7 and 8 to 12. Individuals with disabilities of all ages can participate in a drop that begins at 11am.

Come on out to Nankin Mills Park for their annual Marshmallow Drop! This fun, fluffy-filled event lets your kiddo race to collect as many flying marshmallows as they can for fun prizes! Don’t miss out on the chance to experience this Easter event like never before!
