Outdoor Movie Nights
Bring the blankets, pillows and snacks for a fun evening under the stars. Birmingham hosts FREE outdoor movie nights at Booth Park. Pre-show entertainment will begin at 6:30pm and the movie will begin at 7:30pm. In the event of inclement weather, Movie Nights will be held the following evening (Saturday).

Farmers Market
Stock up on fresh produce, food and more every Sunday from 9am to 2pm. A Kids’ Zone, live music and plenty of kid-friendly vendors keep the whole family entertained. Bonus – the market is located right across the street from Booth Park! Mark your calendar for these special dates:
Day on the Town
Get ready for the biggest retail event of the year and head to downtown Birmingham on Saturday, July 29 from 9am to 5pm for Day On The Town! Find great deals in the stores and on the streets and sidewalks throughout downtown Birmingham, enjoy food trucks, entertainment and more. Parking is free in structures during the event.
BONUS: The Birmingham Police Department will host its first annual Open House event, in the rear parking lot of Birmingham City Hall, located at 151 Martin Street, from 10am to 1pm during Day on the Town. Meet Birmingham Police Officers, see live demonstrations and displays and more.
Visit Baldwin Library
Find new reads for summer reading and stop by Baldwin Library in downtown Birmingham. The recently renovated Yout Room includes a larger play area, aquarium, and an outdoor children’s garden + terrace. After visiting the library, be sure to head across the street to Shain Park, which has an adorable children’s play area.
