We recently took a break from Michigan to explore Florida! Here’s our top 5 family friendly things to do while your there. Tested and approved by kids!
The Florida Aquarium
You can easily spend the entire day here. They have live shows with a variety of animals, tons of knowledgeable staff that are able to answer any questions. Stingray, Jelly Fish, and Sea Life touch tanks. Massive aquariums with sharks, sea turtles and all of the sea life you can imagine. They also host a outside play area and a café. Cocoa Beach
Spend the day at the beach! This beach is absolutely beautiful and runs for miles. There are tons of local restaurants right on or near the beach for when you need a snack as well. The pier is also very nice to explore if you need a break from the water.
Disney Magic Kingdom
Dine in Cinderella’s Castle (reservation required) to see Princesses without a wait and get some one-on-one time with them. Plus, how often can you dine in a Castle? Afterwards, spend the day with Mickey and his friends. Ride the teacups, meet even more Princesses and have a blast.
Gatorland
Explore marshes, swamps and see live gators in their natural habitat. Enjoy live shows with a variety of animals, gator feeding and reptiles. Grab some gator food and feed any of the gator! Disney Springs
Enjoy some of the magic of Disney World for FREE! With tons of shopping options, lots of entertainment on various stages and endless food options this is a great stop for anyone trying to save and do something fun while on vacation.
