Story Festival (September 25th)

Calling all bookworms! Enjoy a day filled with spectacular stories, creative activities and fun performances at the Edsel & Eleanor Ford House first-ever Story Festival on Saturday, September 25th . Admission is $5 for guests 5 and older and includes story stations, live music and more.

 

Stumpkin Story Time (Tuesdays in October)

If you can’t make the festival, sign up for Stumpkin Story Time every Tuesday in October from 10:30am to 11:30am – it’s FREE!

 

Harvest Day (October 9th)

The best place to visit during fall is the Ford House! The changing trees and fallen leaves make it fun for kids every day of the week (seriously the giant leaf pile can keep them entertained for hours). On Harvest Day, October 9th, enjoy an afternoon of family fun with lawn games, a petting zoo, horse and pony rides, plenty of photo ops, fall market and more!

 

Pumpkin Painting (October 17th)

Get your little ones in the Halloween spirit and paint a pumpkin at Ford House! Each child ticket includes a pumpkin, paints, and brushes. Each child ticket includes a pumpkin, paints, and brushes. After they create their masterpieces, feel free to take some time to explore the fall splendor of the estate grounds and let your gorgeous gourds dry.

 

Little Goblins (October 23rd)

Bring your little goblins to Ford House for this annual day of Halloween entertainment filled with spooky yet kid-friendly fun. There will be trick-or-treating stops, the always popular giant leaf pile for jumping, photo ops, a straw maze and a haunt-free wagon ride. Tickets are $12 for members, $15 for the general public and sell out quickly!
