The Detroit Zoo isn’t just for kids, mom and dad can enjoy themselves for a night on the town at these adult-only events.
Call the sitter and get out the house for seasonal fun from 6pm to 10pm at the Detroit Zoo. These unique events are fun, festive and support the Detroit Zoo’s mission to create meaningful connections between people, animals and the natural world so all can thrive.
Event tickets are$60 for general admission (includes 6 drink tickets), $95 for VIP admission (8 drink tickets and VIP lounge access), designated drivers save $20 on each ticket price. Purchase a 4-pack for $210 and save $30 on general admission tickets.
Zoo Brew: Friday, May 17th
Check out more than 100 beer selections, including a welcome drink from Griffin Claw Brewing Company. Play life-sized games, listen to live music and experience a new immersive station to learn about Panamanian golden frogs.
Summer Sips: Friday, July 19th
Savor specialty cocktails, beer, wine and more as we celebrate the warm weather in style. Guests will also jungle boogie to live entertainment, monkey around with life-sized games and adventure through the Zoo’s 125 acres – including Dinosauria! This year’s nautical theme is sure to ship you straight to the sea, so sport your favorite boating attire and join the fun!
Spooky Spirits: Friday, October 4th
Step into a world of ghoulish enchantment during our spooky season 21+ tasting event and dress to impress in your favorite costume! There will be a variety of scary-good specialty drinks, live entertainment, fun photo opportunities and more!
Polar Beers: Friday, December 5th
Enjoy two fan-favorite events for the price of one! Polar Beers guests can explore the seasonal magic of Wild Lights, our annual holiday celebration. Experience the Zoo decorated in millions of twinkling LED lights while tasting a delicious variety of local and craft brews.
