GEMU Clawcade and Playground, a new 8,000-square-foot family entertainment destination, is officially open at Oakland Mall. Founded by Shelby Township mother-daughter duo Grace and Wen Chen, GEMU is a unique play destination with arcade-style claw machines and an interactive playground featuring a ball pit, air cannons, twirly slide, and even a mini basketball court. It’s designed for both kids and adults to play and explore together—and they’ve made safety and cleanliness a top priority.
Playground Day passes are $21.99 per child and includes two adults. Socks are required for the playground. Memberships are $70 per month and $30 for an additional child. Playcards start at $8 for 40 credit.
GEMU is open Mondays through Saturdays 10am to 8pm and Sunday 11am to 6pm.
