Head to Belle Isle State Park and join the Nature Center’s annual Bee Fest celebration this summer.
Bee Fest returns to the Belle Isle Nature Center on Saturday, August 20th from 10am to 3pm. The FREE family event hosted on National Honey Bee Day and focuses on the important role bees play in our ecosystem and teaches guests how to care for these six-legged pollinators through fun activities and educational displays.
Bee Fest activities include beekeeper talks, pollinator-friendly arts and crafts, candle making, honey tasting, local vendors and more. Admission to the Nature Center is free but a $12 annual Michigan State Park Pass is required to drive on Belle Isle.
