For all of the littles who want to become a doctor or love learning about the human body, celebrate National Doctor’s Day on Thursday, March 30th with these fun activities.

On The Town

Take a trip to the museum and have hands-on fun in an ambulance or as a doctor at these kid town exhibits.

  • Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum: Explore the science of your body! Try to identify an object solely by touch. Examine the bones in your hand and see how they would look if you were a baby or a senior. Drive a real ambulance, or climb in the back to see how medical transport works.
  • Sloan Museum of Discovery: The Hagerman Street Learning Gallery gives kids a chance to learn about different careers thru play-centric exploration and includes an ambulance wtih medical space.
  • University of Michigan Museum of Natual History: Explore the different parts of cells and their functions by examining model organelles, DNA molecules, and more. Interactive activities can help you discover even more about what is inside your body.
