When the Erwin family decided to step away from its South Lyon orchard, Blake Farms stepped in to make sure families continue to enjoy all their favorite fall traditions. Celebrate the new Blake’s South Lyon season opening on Saturday, August 20th and come back for free donuts and cider during Welcome Weekend!
The 104-acre orchard and cider mill, formerly Erwin Orchards, will continue favorite traditions such as the signature donuts and cider, petting zoo, u-pick, and tractor rides in 2022 as the new Blake’s South Lyon. In addition to traditional favorites, guests will also enjoy new additions including a fresh produce farmstand, outposts serving Blake’s Hard Cider and wine, expanded cider mill treats and baked goods, and live music on weekends.
The public is invited to attend Welcome Weekend on August 27th and 28th. There will be free cider and donuts, live music, family activities and more. As part of the Welcome Weekend, Blake’s South Lyon will be partnering with South Lyon-based Active Faith Community Services food pantry to support its mission of providing long term and temporary assistance to people facing difficult times.
Blake’s South Lyon will be open daily beginning August 20th through October 31st. Hours of operation will be Mondays thru Thursdays from 8am to 7pm, Fridays and Saturdays 8am to 9pm and Sundays from 8am to 7pm. Note that there are no permanent restrooms available at this time, only portable restrooms and pump sinks.
Weekday attraction wristbands are $4.95 per person and Weekend Attraction Wristbands (Saturday & Sunday) are $7.95 per person and include access to the corn maze, tractor ride, Mr. Bee’s Big 3D Adventure, petting farm (weekends only), Tricycle Track and straw mountain.
