Lower Huron Metropark’s new playground has something for everyone! The space themed space has a large creative toddler area, massive traditional structure with universally accessible slides and spaceship, a caged ninja warrior course, swings for all ages and abilities AND a climbing slide that genuinely challenges kids to reach for the stars!

The new playground is incredible and it’s sure to keep your kids busy whether they are 2 or 12. Restrooms are available but a short walk from the playground.

While you’re at Lower Huron Metropark, you can also make a splash at the Turtle Cove Family Aquatic Center. The outdoor waterpark features two waterslides, drift along a lazy river, get soaked under the 300-gallon dumping bucket at the splash pad, and wade into the zero-depth entry pool. It is open daily from 12pm to 7pm and admission is $12 for adults and $10 for kids between 30″ and 48″ (those under 30″ are free). Pool can reach capacity so arrive early or prepare to wait.

A vehicle Huron-Clinton Metropark pass is required to enter the park. An annual pass is $40 and a day pass is $10. You can also gain FREE access to 13 Huron-Clinton Metroparks with your library card, learn how here.
