Calling all kiddos who love to climb! Gainsboro Park in Pleasant Ridge is the perfect place for you!

Kids will find it all here – an inverted rock wall, spider webbing, climbing loops, teeter totter, swings, merry-go-round, and a small toddler area as well.

The park is perfectly planned out with big kid play structure on one side of the cute bridge with a tunnel underneath. As well and a toddler one on the other! Bonus the entire thing can be viewed from one spot so you can rest easy (If your kids allow you to that is). A nice shade screen will help to keep you cool while watching your kids play. The spider webbing and climbing loops are combined in the same structure on the big kid’s side.

Also nearby are four tennis and basketball courts, a pavilion connected to a public restroom. Take a stroll or use your scooters on a paved walking path that runs along the side of the park. Too young for a scooter? Bring a ball. This park also hosts a nice green area right next to the big kids’ play area.

Another great bonus of this park is that a train runs right behind it allowing your train lovers to see them up close! There are trees cut away making the perfect peek hole to view the train. Don’t worry, the kids won’t get too close. There is a large cyclone fence separating them from the train.

Please note, there is a small parking lot. If it’s full, there are options for street parking in the residential neighborhood.
