Get up and dance with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra every Friday in July at Spotlight Park in Detroit for Music In The Park. The FREE summer event is perfect for families.
This July, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra is teaming up with Northwest Goldberg Cares to present Music In the Park, a series of FREE music workshops for young students, followed by performances by DSO musicians and local artists.
Music In The Park is Fridays from June 30th thru July 28th, 10:30am to 12:30pm and FREE to attend. Pre-registration is requested.
Spotlight Park is a 10 minute drive to downtown Detroit, make it a complete day in D with a visit to the Monroe Street Midway. The Midways is open Thursdays thru Sundays from 12pm to 7pm and has free attractions including the Sports Zone and mini-golf and Roller Skate rink with rental. Located in the center of downtown, it’s the perfect way to soak up city life this summer.
