Exciting news! After a two year hiatus, Detroit’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade returns to Michigan Avenue in Corktown on Sunday, March 13th.

Find your seat on the original brick road of Michigan Avenue (between 6th and 14th street) to watch the color guard units, floats, novelty groups and marching bands for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Stop off begins at 1pm and the parade lasts for approximately 2 hours.

The parade is free, but you can purchase advanced tickets for the Family Fun Zone. Tickets cost $12 per person or $60 for a family of 6 for access to grand stand seating, parking, inflatables, dance lessons, live performances and appearances by Tigers and Lions mascots, Paws and Roary. The family zone is open from 11:30am to 3:30pm.

While you’re in Corktown, here are our favorite places to visit, eat and play.
