The Easter Bunny is set to officially arrive on Sunday, April 9th, however, there are plenty of Easter Egg Hunts and Easter events happening throughout Metro Detroit to enjoy beforehand – including this weekend!

SPRING FLING EGG SCRAMBLE
@ Drake Sports Park – Thursday, April 6
All the eggs are split and scrambled up! It’s your job to put them back together and turn them in for a treat! Bring a basket to carry your goodies in and a camera to take a picture with Mr. Bunny. A petting farm and train ride will also be available at the event.

FLASHLIGHT EGG HUNT
@ Oxford Public LIbrary – Thursday, April 6
An egg hunt with a twist– you’ll need your flashlights to hunt in the dark! Don’t forget to check your batteries and bring a basket to collect your eggs. Turn eggs in for prizes– find the special egg to win the grand prize!

SPRING FLING FLASHLIGHT EGG HUNT
@ Drake Sports Park – Thursday, April 6
An “egg-citing” twist on one of our most popular events, designed for our slightly older egg hunters. This is at Drake Sports Park after dark, so bring your flashlight and be prepared to “really hunt” down those hidden treasures. Bring a flashlight and basket to carry away all your goodies.

BUNNYVILLE
@ Detroit Zoo, Royal Oak – Friday, April 7th & Saturday, April 8
Hop on over to the Detroit Zoo website to reserve your tickets for a visit on April 7th or 8th to experience Bunnyville. The holiday event is free with admission and offers guests a chance to search for hidden golden eggs, stop by ‘Ed-zoo-cation’ stations, check out spring-themed animal get photos with the Easter Bunny. New this year is face painting, inflatable games and obstacle courses!

EGG-STRAVAGANZA
@ Canterbury Village, Orion Township – Friday, April 7th & Saturday, April 8
Come out to Canterbury Village for an afternoon of fun and adventure. The shops will have kids’ Easter activities throughout the afternoon include crafts, lawn ames, and selfie photos with the bunny. The moment we’ve all been waiting for arrives! Bring your baskets, find eggs, and then choose which shops to trade them in at for candy and other cool prizes! Don’t forget to hop down to Yates Cider Mill & check out the petting zoo.

@ Heilmann Recreation Center, Detroit – Saturday, April 8
This FREE community event features a carnival, inflatables, trackless train, petting zoo, Easter Bunny visits, and more!

BREAKFAST WITH EASTER BUNNY & MARSHMALLOW DROP
@ GilTalbert Community Center – Saturday, April 8
The Annual Breakfast with the Easter Bunny event is $5 and includes a marshamllow drop at 1pm for kids ages 3 and older. An egg hunt for kids ages 1 to 3 is at 11:30am. Admission is $5 for all guests ages 4 and older.

EASTER IN THE WILDLIFE PARK
@ Howell Nature Center – Saturday, April 8

Hop through the festively decorated Wild Wonders Wildlife Park for an EGGciting Easter adventure! Join us for Easter egg hunts, games, and presentations by our wildlife EGGsperts! After strolling through the park, hop over for a special photo with the Easter Bunny!

The annual spring celebration is back on Saturday, April 8 2023. Featuring an egg hunt and a visit with the big spring bunny. Children participating in the egg hunt are only permitted to collect a maximum of 10 eggs to allow for enough for all time slots.

Kids will search for eggs in decorated Easter themed areas. No pushing or shoving for your children to collect their eggs, each participant leaves with the same number of eggs. Don’t forget your camera to capture a photo of the Easter Bunny hard at work preparing for Easter. Bring a basket or bag to collect your eggs. The path is approximately ¼ mile and covers a paved and grass trail.

EASTER FAMILY FARM FUN DAY
@ Clarkston Family Farm, Clarkston – Saturday, April 8
Lots of other terrific activities at the farm that day too! A visit from the Easter Bunny and his Fluffy and Furry Pals. Mini-horse interaction and of course our Bunnyville, Hen’s Haven and Piglet Palace will be open. We will have crafts for kids, refreshments offered and hayrides available!
