Michigan is home to more than 150 species of butterflies! We’ll learn about some of our common butterflies, share tips for attracting them to your backyard and garden, and then take a short hike to practice observing and identifying butterflies on the wing. We’ll also learn about the monitoring work of the Michigan Butterfly Network and ways that you can get involved with butterfly science.

Ages: 13 and up
