One of Canton’s longest-running traditions returns! Join us at the ponds of Heritage Park for this family-friendly event. Please bring your own fishing gear; worms will be available for purchase, while supplies last. Only those who will be fishing need to purchase a ticket. Fishing Derby Rules: Everyone fishing MUST have a ribbon, regardless of age. Fishing ribbon should be pinned in sight (best spot is on the back of the shoulder so we can see the ribbon from behind while you are fishing). Limit of 3 ‘keepers’ per ribbon. No ‘chumming’ or ‘netting’. Please be respectful of others.
