Looking for a fun way to have your children practice their reading skills? Join us for HSHV’s Rescue Reading program select Saturdays 10:00-11:30am. This program includes time reading to our adoptable animals, a group read-aloud and a dog meet-and-greet! This is a drop-off event designed for ages 6-11. For children under 6, we invite you to visit us for Little Paws Storytime.

Books: While we have many books available, we would love to have your children bring several books to read during the session that are at their reading level.

Registration: Pre-registration is required. Space is limited to 10 children per session. Register here
