There’s a new reason to visit Detroit Public Libraries (DPL) – Priority Health and Detroit PBS have partnered with DPL to place Calming Stations in six of the city’s libraries. The stations also offer numerous self-regulation tools such as a Yoto Listening Player with meditation audio cards, plus helpful games and sensory toys. A specially designed whiteboard allows kids to describe their feelings. Learn more here
