Story Trail Trick or Treating @ Heritage Park (Canton)

Thursday, October 7th

Grab the family, get dressed up in your costume  for Trick or Treating along the Heritage Park Story Trail from 4-7:30pm. The selected story is for all ages. Pre-registration is required with a paid fee per trick or treater! The trail is a mile long so make sure to bring strollers or wagons. If you have a later time slot a flashlight is suggested!

Trek or Treat @ Rolling Hills Park (Ypsilanti)

Saturday, October 9th

Come enjoy a 1-mile section of trail, visit themed stations and collect your treats along the way!  Timed entry to maintain social distancing.  Masks are required during check-in and when communicating with staff, and are encouraged on the trail. Space is limited for each 1-hour session.  No walk-ins permitted.

Panther Hunt @ Willis Park (Wixom)

Come dressed in your Halloween costume for some outdoor Halloween fun! Kids will receive a Halloween tote, a chance to go along the Trick or Treat Trail, live music, a hayride, get a pumpkin, & face painting.

Find bony fingers, skeletons, and fairy goblets, in true Nature Center style, and entertaining for the whole family. Pick up your spooky scavenger hunt at the Nature Center on Saturday, October 16 between 11am and 3pm, then head outside to see how many items you can find.

FREE Halloween @ Michigan Science Center (Detroit)

Enjoy a FREE spooky celebration on Saturday, October 16 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., sponsored by BASF. There will be Halloween-themed activities and free general admission to the museum. Costumes are encouraged!

Harvest Festival @ Crosswinds Marsh (New Boston)

Beyond the Seed is brewing up a witch’s tea party! Mount your brooms and swiftly take flight. They’re serving some tea and snacks to delight. When witches go riding and black cats are seen, the moon laughs and whispers ‘tis near Halloween. Dust off your hat’s and dress in your witch’s best. Join us in the garden and we’ll do the rest.

Wear your costume and grab a photo near our photo prop station. Walkthrough the trail and see if your group can spot all of our hunt items. Scavenger hunt, cider, and donuts pick a pumpkin, storytime, and other entertainment. No on-site registration will be available.

Get into the Halloween spirit with this fun and spooky activity. Ever wonder about the origins of pumpkin carving or the scarecrow? Various YMCA locations will offer a fun and safe Halloween event for children. Kids will enjoy healthy treats, scavenger hunts, crafts and so much more. Shadows From The Past Halloween Walk @ Greenmead (Livonia)

Greenmead’s historic buildings serve as the backdrop for this event! Participants will walk through the village, stopping at stations to receive goodies and treats for the kids. Costumes are encouraged!

Haunted Nature Center @ Burgess-Shadbush Nature Center (Shelby Township)

Visit our haunt-filled nature center to find costumed characters, fun scenes and spooky stories. Some of our characters will be handing out treats to anyone entering their lair. This playfully eerie event is ideal for the entire family.

Sterling Heights celebrates the spirit of Halloween with Sterling Frights.  The event will include music, games, attractions, food, and plenty of photo opportunities – all designed around public health guidelines. Free pumpkins for first 400 participants.  For children ages 12 and younger.

Little Goblins @ The Ford House (Grosse Pointe Shores)

Bring your little goblins to Ford House for this annual day of Halloween entertainment filled with spooky yet kid-friendly fun. There will be trick-or-treating stops, the always popular giant leaf pile for jumping, photo ops, a straw maze and a haunt-free wagon ride. Children under 2 who are not trick-or-treating are free. All attendees should have a ticket.

Trunk or Treat @ Historic Village (Westland)

Saturday, October 23rd

Get the littles ones all dressed up for Halloween and head over to the village. Trunkers pass out candy to kids in a safe atmosphere. Stations will also be set up at the various village houses. We ask that masks and spacing be observed.

Halloween Hoot @ Beverly Park (Beverly Hills)

Saturday, October 23rd

The fun will start with pumpkin carving! The first 200 children carve pumpkins that will line the Hoot Trail. (Pumpkins can be picked up after 8:00 p.m. that night or before noon the next day to take home). Later, 6pm – 8pm, children in costume can Trick or Treat along the Hoot Trail through the woods, but must be accompanied by an adult. Storytellers, cider and donuts are available in the pavilion.

Halloween Festival @ Nankin Mills Park (Westland)

Nankin Mills hosts the annual Fall Festival back for 2021. The free event will offer a costume parade, putt putt golf, candy giveaway, hay rides, and games & inflatables.

Halloween Kids Shoot @ Riley Archery Range (Farmington Hills)

Come in costume and join us to shoot for treats.  For kids ages 8- 17 years.  Pre-registration required.

Trick or Treat Trail @ Veterans Memorial Park (St. Clair Shores)

A Trick or Treat Trail for children ages 18 months through 12 years old will feature spooky music, hot chocolate, cider, donuts, and many service clubs, businesses, city departments and individuals handing out candy in a safe and secure setting.

Come Ride with us for our Annual Trick or Treat Train Rides. Let the kids dress up for a 35-45 minute fun train ride and afterwards the kids can trick or treat from our museum volunteers. We will also be having complimentary cider and donuts after each ride furnished by Blake’s Orchards.

The 37th Annual Royal Oak Spooktacular will feature trick or treating at local businesses and fun family activities on Washington Street. Dress the kids up and let the go Trick-or-Treating to the shops downtown!

A Trick or Treat Stroll will be held from 12pm – 3pm, to give families with little ghosts and goblins, princesses and pumpkins the opportunity to trick-or-treat at participating Downtown Berkley businesses. All are invited to the Monster Mash, from 2pm – 6pm. This party will feature a live DJ, Halloween crafts and activities, plenty of photo opportunities, something suitable for all ages.
