Make A Splash
Find something for everyone at Lake St. Clair Metropark. The summer-must has a sandy beach, pool with slides and inflatables, AND a splash pad. The beach and splash pad are free to enjoy and the pool has a $5 per person fee. If you want to do more than swim, rent a kayak for $20 for the first hour and $10 for each additional hour.
Visit a Playground
Lake St. Clair Metropark’s playground can keep the kids busy for a while. There are universally accessible features for those that need them and plenty of ninja structures for kids who love to climb.
Explore the Nature Center
Lake St. Clair Metropark Nature Center allows visitors to experience Michigan’s unique wetland habitat up-close. Uncover the importance of this protected habitat through interpretive exhibits, live animals and taxidermy. Explore nearby trails which guide you through natural areas traversing freshwater marsh, meadow and woodland habitat.
Hike or Bike a Trail
Lake St. Clair Metropark has a 3 mile paved hike-bike trail featuring panoramic views of the water. Families can also enjoy short half mile strolls along trails at the Nature Center. Bike rentals are available daily at the Beach Shop for $15 for the first hour and $10 for each additional hour.
Adventure Golf
Enjoy a little friendly competition at the 18-hole miniature golf course that comes complete with waterfalls and two rivers, providing competitive fun for putt-putt golfers of all ages. The course is open from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day. It costs $5 for adults and $4 for kids.
