If you’re looking for a full day of fun in one place, head to Clintonwood Park in Clarkston. There’s an awesome playground, splash pad and lots of space to picnic and play.

Clintonwood Park has it all. A large playground area that is fun for kids big and small. With multiple slides and places to climb the kids can easily keep busy. There is also a zip line and swings (including two ‘mommy and me’ swings). Bring a ball because there is a kid-friendly half basketball court next to a gaga pit. There are tennis courts and baseball fields too.

The star attraction is the splash pad. From a massive dump bucket to sprayers and a giant frog, kids will LOVE this one and so will you. It is open daily from 10am to 7pm. Admission is $2 for residents and $4 for non-residents, cash only. There is a staff person at a picnic table under an umbrella who checks people in. Only kids under 18 need to pay for admission.

Best of all there are easy to access changing rooms and rest rooms, right next to the parking lot before you enter the park. This is a seamless trip and a must for your summer bucketlist.
