Cranbrook Institute of Science: Friday, February 6th
Enjoy free admission to Cranbrook Science on the first Friday of each month.
Home Depot Kid Workshops: Saturday, February 7th
On the first Saturday of the month between 9am and noon, Home Depot hosts free in-person kid workshops.
Ann Arbor Art Center: Friday, February 13th
Drop into the A2AC Main Gallery this Valentine’s Day and make your own heart-shaped accordion cards using a variety of provided materials! This event is free and open to all ages. All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Troy Historic Village: February 16th & 17th
Shake off some cabin fever and visit the Village free of charge. Explore historic buildings, go on a scavenger hunt, and see what fun programs are available at the Village. Great for all ages!
DIY-U by Lowe’s: Saturday, February 21st
Take flight with this colorful Birdhouse workshop! Kids will build and decorate their own cozy home for feathered friends, learning how to assemble and paint while exploring nature. A perfect way to welcome spring and inspire a love for the outdoors.This workshop begins at 10am
Michigan History Museum: Sundays, February 1st, 8th, 15th, & 22nd
Beginning with Michigan’s first people’s, the Anishinaabe, and ending in the mid-20th century, take a 3-story tour through time at the Michigan History Center in Lansing. The museum’s hands-on exhibits look at the life and industry in interactive ways that give kids a chance to stroll from the wilderness to the copper mines and into the classroom. The Michigan History Center is open on Mondays thru Saturdays from 10am to 4pm. Admission is $8 for adults, $4 for youth ages 6 to 17 and children ages 5 and under are free. The Center is open on Sundays from 1pm to 5pm and admission is FREE!
