Cranbrook Institute of Science: Friday, November 1st

Home Depot Kid Workshops: Saturday, November 2nd
On the first Saturday of the month between 9am and noon, Home Depot hosts free in-person kid workshops.
Michigan History Museum: Sundays, November 3rd, 10th, 17th & 24th
Beginning with Michigan’s first people’s, the Anishinaabe, and ending in the mid-20th century, take a 3-story tour through time at the Michigan History Center in Lansing. The museum’s hands-on exhibits look at the life and industry in interactive ways that give kids a chance to stroll from the wilderness to the copper mines and into the classroom. The Michigan History Center is open on Mondays thru Saturdays from 10am to 4pm. Admission is $8 for adults, $4 for youth ages 6 to 17 and children ages 5 and under are free. The Center is open on Sundays from 1pm to 5pm and admission is FREE!
Detroit Historical Museum: November 10th
Celebrate the exhibition Kresge at 100: A Century of Impact, a Future of Opportunity with free admission to the Detroit Historical Museum from 10am to 5pm.
Oakland County Parks: November 11th
On Oakland County Parks Free Entry Days, visitors can enjoy free daily park entry with access to trails, dog parks, playgrounds and fishing spots. Free Entry Days are valid at Addison Oaks, Highland Oaks, Independence Oaks, Lyon Oaks, Lyon Oaks Dog Park, Orion Oaks, Orion Oaks Dog Park, Red Oaks Dog Park and Rose Oaks. These parks are always free: Catalpa Oaks, Pontiac Oaks, Red Oaks Nature Center, Springfield Oaks and Waterford Oaks.
1001 Woodward: Thursday – Sundays beginning November 14th
Enjoy a whimsical experience at 1001 Winter Wonders. The jolly man in red will be awaiting your visit downtown at 1001 Woodward Avenue this winter season! Santa will be available for free photos. In partnership with UMAISE, Bedrock also offers an inclusive sensory-friendly Santa experience that families can pre-register for. While you’re downtown walk a couple blocks north for ReMix Detroit, the free interactive music space.
