Lighted Christmas Parade (Allen Park)

Tree lighting ceremony at the Historical House followed by lighted Christmas parade from the Historical House, down Park Avenue to White Street, ending at the Allen Park Community Center.
Lighted Santa Parade (St. Clair Shores)

The annual St. Clair Santa parade will begin down River Road along Palmer Park! Santa will receive the key to the city and the city Christmas tree will be lighted immediately following the parade.
Holiday Lighted Parade (Northville)

Join the thousands of parade-goers as the holiday season officially kicks off with the Holiday Lighted Parade. Bands, dancers, floats, and of course, Santa, make this annual favorite a great family tradition!
Saturday, November 22
The Parade route begins at Northline near the Police/Court Building and ends at Eureka Avenue. The parade begins at 10 am and usually runs approximately one hour. Wyandotte’s Christmas Parade often draws participation from local marching troupes, pipe and drum and marching bands, schools and organizations from throughout Michigan and Canada. The parade ends with Santa Claus!
Lagniappe & Big Bright Light Show (Rochester)

Mark your calendars for Lagniappe & the kick-off of 20th Year of The Big, Bright Light Show as the buildings of downtown Rochester are illuminated with over 1.5 million glimmering light! Lights flip on at 7 pm and the light show will continue to be aglow every night from 5 pm to Midnight through January 18, 2026!
Santa Claus Parade (Grosse Pointe)

Santaland Parade (Garden City)

Join Garden City’s oldest and most prestigious event, the Santaland Parade. Along with watching from the parade route, the parade will be live streamed in Facebook and YouTube to thousands across the world.

The parade can be seen throughout the downtown area running from N. Maumee to N. Union along Chicago Blvd.
Be on the lookout for Santa Clause riding in the parade! Santa Clause can also be visited at the Santa House, located at the corner of Chicago Blvd and Pearl St, after the parade and other times throughout the holiday season.
Saturday, December 6
The parade steps off at 5 p.m. from the Taylor Recreation Center, and ends at the Sheridan Open Air Pavilion in Heritage Park. The Tree Lighting and Firework display will immediately follow the parade (approx. 6:15 p.m.).

The Christmas Parade is now in its 82nd year and the Tree Lighting has become a community tradition. Visitors are welcomed to the Tree Lighting, at the intersection of Sycamore and Biddle Avenue, where they are given jingle bells to join in with the choir. Festive decorations surround the guests along with live reindeer and a children’s entertainer twists balloons to give away to youngsters.

Merry & Bright Parade (Livonia)

The Merry & Bright Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting is back! The parade will kick off from Frost Middle School and travel to the Livonia City Hall south entrance, where there will be a tree lighting before families can enjoy some free activities at the Livonia Public Library’s Bennett Civic Center Library.(no information posted for this year yet)
