Start making plans for metro Detroit’s holiday tradition. America’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will march down Woodward Avenue and you can watch it live on Thursday, November 23, 2023. 

Wake up early Thanksgiving morning and head to Detroit to watch floats, marching bands and live entertainment make way from Midtown to downtown. Reserve the best seats and order your Grand Stand tickets now! Tickets range from $60 to $70 per person, they can be purchased here.

Parading going tips.

The parade airs on television at 10am but it BEGINS at Kirby and Woodward (Midtown) at 8:45am. The Parade ends at Woodward and Congress (downtown, one block south of Campus Martius) at about 10:15am. Parking sells out quickly and it’s advised to book in advance, ParkWhiz offers advanced booking options. The Parade Company will also list recommended parking locations on its website in November.

If you aren’t able to make it downtown, turn on the tv and watch it on Channel 4 beginning at 10am.
