Start making plans for metro Detroit’s holiday tradition. America’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will march down Woodward Avenue and you can watch it live on Thursday, November 24th.
Wake up early Thanksgiving morning and head to Detroit to watch floats, marching bands and live entertainment make way from Midtown to downtown. Reserve the best seats and order your Grand Stand tickets now! Tickets range from $60 to $70 per person, they can be purchased here.
Parading going tips.
The parade airs on television at 10am but it BEGINS at Kirby and Woodward (Midtown) at 8:45am. The Parade ends at Woodward and Congress (downtown, one block south of Campus Martius) at about 10:15am. These parking structures are available to the public along with rates:
- The Z Garage – $30
- Greektown Garage – $30
- One Campus Martius Garage – $25
- Bricktown Garage – $25
- Financial District Garage – $25
- 1001 Woodward Garage – $25
- Buhl Garage – $25
- One Detroit Garage – $25

If you aren’t able to make it downtown, turn on the tv and watch it on Channel 4 beginning at 10am.
You don’t have to wait until Thanksgiving to see the floats. Visit the Parade Company for a Studio Tour all year long.
