Fire & Ice Festival
Friday, January 6 – Sunday, January 8
@ Valade Park, Detroit
Head to Winter at Valade’s Fire and Ice festival for a weekend with oversized fires, turkey legs and an ice carving competition. Try your hand at archery and ax throwing, or take your picture on our Iron Throne – made of ice, of course! Frozen’s Elsa and Renaissance Fair performers will be wandering the park for additional photo opportunities. The signature moment of the weekend is Fire and Ice Tower – a 7 foot ice structure that will become a giant bonfire once lit at 6pm on Friday. You don’t want to miss it!
Winter Fest

@ Adams Butzel Recreation Center, Detroit
Head to the Adams Butzel Recreation Center for an afternoon of winter fun. Stop by the Wintercade for bumper cars, laser tag, mechanical snowboarding, and more. Try ice fishing, go on a carraige ride and meet with Ana, Elsa and Olaf!
Fire & Ice Festival

The Fire & Ice Festival in Downtown Rochester is back for another year of family fun and festivities! On Jan. 20-21, 2023, enjoy the ice sculptures along Main Street, ice skating rink, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing, fireworks, food trucks and tent, and so much more!
Winter Around The World
Friday, January 20 – Sunday, January 22
@ Valade Park, Detroit
Winter Around the World will feature an international food truck rally and dance performances showcasing a variety of styles and genres by Detroit artists. Don’t miss the Lunar New Year Celebration presented by the Michigan Taiwanese American Organization on Sunday from 1-4pm.
Ice Sculpture Festival

@ Downtown Tecumseh
Downtown Tecumseh will have over 35 ice sculptures for you to see. There will also be life size balloon sculptures that will adorn the sidewalks during the event. Try your hand at our Scavenger Hunt through the participating merchants.

The Plymouth Ice Festival invites you to explore downtown Plymouth, with sidewalks lined with ice carvings. To help with social distancing, we are spreading ice carving displays, in front of merchants and restaurants, in the downtown area.
