Meet Lyndsi
Hi y’all, I’m Lyndsi. I’ve been married to my husband Warren for 4 years. We have two amazing kiddos and a fur baby Dude. Our son Emory is 3 and our daughter Eleanor is 1. My husband is my superhero and often holds down the fort while I’m stuck at the office. I’m a doctor and currently I’m the director for the internal medicine residency clinic at Mclaren Oakland Hospital.
Navigating new motherhood as a physician during a pandemic has been the experience of a lifetime. Like most everyone reading this, we faced many challenges during quarantine but it brought us together as a family of 4 in more ways than I could have imagined. Family time is the most important to me and I love quality time with our parents and my sister, who had my first nephew 9 days before Eleanor was born. Watching our babies grow up together is the best!
I have an unhealthy obsession with bamboo baby clothes and matching my children. I’m also super passionate about health and fitness and my “me time” is always spent at the gym. I used to compete in bikini bodybuilding and would love to get back on stage at some point in the future.

Best Park/Playground: Stony Creek Metropark (Shelby Township)
Stony Creek Metropark is hands down our favorite! My husband is a cyclist. During the pandemic we would head over to Stony almost daily and he would ride while I jogged with the kiddos and Dude. I love all the options the Metropark has to offer: the beach, trails, and so many playgrounds the opportunities are endless. We love that our fur baby can come and join in the fun as well.
Best Family-Friendly Annual Event: Blake’s Farm (Armada)
I would say anything at Blake’s Farms in Armada. We have an annual pass to the fun land, and participate in all of their seasonal events. Our favorite is definitely pumpkin picking in the fall. After our littles exhaust themselves we always end the day with a meal and cider in their tasting room! Win win for everyone.
Your Mom Must-Have: My Housekeeper!
My mom must-have is my housekeeper. She is worth every penny. For me working outside the home I like to outsource where and when I can to optimize my time with our children. The mom guilt is real and the last thing I want to do is spend my time at home cleaning toilets.
Best Spring Destination or Event: Downtown Rochester’s Farmers’ Market (Rochester)
A great way to get fresh local food and teach my littles about healthy eating. They LOVE helping pick out the veggies and fruit and there’s always something fun for them to experience; whether it be a local dance team performance or a petting zoo.
“Pat Yourself on the Back” Accomplishment: Completing Medical School
Definitely my greatest personal accomplishment outside of motherhood is completing my medical degree. It was a goal I’ve had ever since I was a child. I love being a primary doctor, the relationships I build with my patients and my role in education where I get to inspire new physicians to become their best selves every day fulfills me.
