Night of Lights is back at Greenmead Historical Park in Livonia with more lights, more activities and more community fun! Formal activities for this holiday attraction will take place the first three weekends in December with the lights on display all month long for this walking event.

Stop by and walk the grounds and take in the lights. On weekends, enjoy special activities including Santa visits, S’mores and Coffee, Street Hockey and Cornhole, crafting stations and The Bear Factory. Plan your visit for a special date and enjoy more fun:

  • Saturday, December 7th: Grinch & Cindy-Lou -visit with everyone’s favorite holiday grump and his friend Cindy-Lou Who – don’t forget to wear your ugly holiday sweater! Plus, kids can decorate a cookie (while supplies last).
  • Friday, December 13th: Taylor Swift’s Birthday Fun – Make friendship bracelets and other crafts and activities while listening to the star’s hits on her birthday. Remember your cardigan or favorite era wear!
  • Saturday, December 14th: Frozen Characters – get pictures and visit with Frozen’s Anna and Elsa while they dance, sing and interact with their little fans.
  • Sunday, December 15th: Santa Paws – Bring your pet to visit Santa & Mrs. Claus! Pictures are free with your own camera and volunteers can help assist capturing a photo of all of you!
  • Friday, December 20th: Lights & Sirens – Livonia Fire and Police Departments will have vehicles on site as well as Wayne County Sheriff’s Mounted Unit for their youngest fans!
  • Saturday, December 21st: Buddy & Jovie – “Santa! I know him!” Meet and greet with Santa’s number one fan: Buddy and his friend Jovi! Don’t forget to visit the workshop to make a craft for someone on your list!

Nights of Lights has a suggested donation of $10 per vehicle for weekend admission that helps support Greenmead Historical Village.
