Halloween fun is in store at Blake’s four unique locations this season. Start making plans to check activities off your fall bucket list.

U-Pick

Blake’s orchards are full of ripe apples and pumpkins for picking.  Take a wagon ride to one of Blake’s U-Pick orchards and select from 40 rotating varieties of apples, including McIntosh, Red Delicious, Fuji, and Gala now through the end of October. Pumpkin picking is available at 3 of the 4 Blake Farms locaitons.

Haunted Weekends

Head to Blake’s Big Apple (71485 North Ave, Armada) for a scary good time. Tickets start at $36.95 for Haunted Weekend attractions and can be purchased online for Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, through Oct. 29, 2023.

  • Zombie Paintball: (no age restriction, parental discretion advised) Hop on Blake’s custom hayride equipped with paintball guns to hunt ‘live’ zombies as they scramble across ten ghoulish acres.·        
  • Three-Story Haunted Barn: (suitable for ages 10+) Get ready for some frightful fun behind every door and corner as you explore all three floors.·        
  • Spookyland 3D Maze: (suitable for all ages) Explore cornstalk mazes, enjoy a petting farm, pedal a kid-sized tractor on tricycle tracks, and discover the Funhouse and Terror Tunnel.·        
  • Haunted Hayride: (no age restriction, parental discretion advised) Enjoy a leisurely wagon ride across Blake’s grounds where ghosts and goblins come to life along the journey. 

NEW Fun @ Blake Farms

Blake’s Backyard added several new events in October:

  • Adult Pumpkin Carving Contest, Oct. 19 at 7pm: Bring your friends to this festive evening of pumpkin carving. Prizes will be awarded for the scariest, funniest, and most creative pumpkins. Tickets are $15.00 per person and include one large pumpkin, carving supplies, and one pint of hard cider or beer.
  • Kids Pumpkin Carving Contest, Oct. 21 from 12pm – 2pm: Let your little one’s imagination run wild at Blake’s kids carving contest. Prizes will be awarded. Tickets are $10.00 per person and include one large pumpkin, carving supplies, one donut, and sweet cider.
  • Grave Rave Halloween Party, Oct. 27 from 7pm – 11pm: Grear up for a hauntingly good time at this annual party with games, food, special cocktail potions, a Thriller dance-off, costume contest, prizes, and giveaways. Tickets are $5.00 per person and include one pint of hard cider or beer. VIP tickets are also available for $20.00 per person and include two alcoholic drinks, ‘horror d’ouevres,’ exclusive service, and specials. Ages 21 and up. 
  • Trunk or Treat – Kids and Canines, Oct. 28 from 1pm – 4pm: Bring the kids and dogs for an afternoon of FREE Halloween fun, complete with costume contests for both children and their four-legged friends. In addition to candy, there will also be homemade dog treats.
