Greenfield Village
From the moment you walk in, the Village feels like a little escape. Stroll through tree-lined paths, visit historic homes and working farms, and take in the beauty of gardens that are in full bloom all summer long. Greenfield Village is truly our happy place. We love wandering through:
- Liberty Craftworks, where skilled artisans create pottery, glass and textiles right in front of you
- Main Street, filled with historic buildings and plenty of places to pop in and explore (and grab a bite to eat – including the famous custard)
- The working farm, where kids can see animals up close and learn about life in the past
- See the homes and lives of ordinary Americas as you walk through time in the Historic District
The gardens throughout the Village are a peaceful oasis, perfect for slowing down in between activities during the spring and summer months.

Classic Rides + Can’t-Miss Experiences
Elevate your experience with a ride the historic steam train around the Village (20 minute train ride), take a spin in a Model T, hop on the carousel or enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride.
A hidden gem near Main Street is the Vilalge Playground.. Kids will love the uniquely designed park that’s designed to resemble a 1930s construction site and includes an interactive steam shovel, a 20-foot long boiler tunnel, a 1931 Model AA truck, giant slide, swings and a splash water feature in the summer months.
