All kids love the universal access playground at Gallup Park Rotary Playground. The naturescape is located along the Huron River and offers a beautiful oasis for any playdate.

Gallup Park is a 69-acre park and is Ann Arbor’s most popular recreation area. Located on the Huron River, there are various water and natural activities to enjoy but the star attraction is the playground. Take a one car bridge across the River and find the playground tucked away in the trees. The nature themed playstructure is perfect for a game of eye spy because you can find animal statues at various locations and a variety of real-life birds too.

Keep sandals and a beach towel handy becaues kids love to get their feet wet in the kayak launch and to play in the sandbox that often has leftover toys. Bring a fishing pole and bait to try your hand at catching fish.

The Gallup Park Livery is open thru October 22nd and is open for boat, kayak and canoe rental Wednesdays – Sundays.
