Registration Now Open for NFL FLAG Winter League in Metro Detroit

NFL FLAG is the largest youth flag football organization in the country and there are multiple locations in metro Detroit, making it easy for you to find a team for your future pro-bowler!

The winter season for flag football begins on January 11, 2026 and the registration deadline is December 14, 2025! Sessions fill up FAST, find a team near you here. The mid-winter National Flag Football season consists of 6 games, a one-hour practice is held before the one-hour game and each player receives a NFL FLAG reversible jersey and flag belt.

The Sunday practice/games are 5 vs. 5, non-contact, recreational, co-ed format. Teams are limited to 8-10 players to maximize playing time. This is an exceptional program for first-time players who want to learn the fundamentals of football and a wonderful opportunity for players who want to continue enhancing their skills before taking the next leap into tackle football. There are no try-outs and everyone participates!

Locations for winter 2026 are Brighton, Beverly Hills, Canton, Cesterfield, Northville/Novi, and Waterford and open to pre-k thru 8th grade.
