One of Metro Detroit’s most favorite winter traditions is officially returning! If your family is searching for a fun, fast, and festive cold-weather adventure, Winter Park at Bowers School Farm is the place to be.

Year after year, snow tubing sells out completely — and with good reason. Winter Park transforms the farm into a snowy wonderland featuring high-speed snow tubing lanes for all ages, cozy firepits to warm up between runs, seasonal winter snacks and drinks, and a magical atmosphere that brings families back season after season. Snow tubing even runs without natural snow thanks to snow-making equipment, making it a reliable winter favorite.

Snow tubing tickets are sold in 50-minute timed sessions beginning at the top of every hour, and they will sell out. Tickets cost $17 per person, and riders must be at least 42” tall, with the final decision left to parents based on their child’s ability to ride safely. Each rider gets their own tube, and no double-riding is allowed. To make the most of your session, plan to arrive 15 minutes early to check in and get your tube.

Winter Park runs thru March 1, 2026, with hours on Fridays from 4–9pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 2–9pm, making it perfect for after-school fun, weekend outings, or nighttime tubing under glowing winter lights.
