The Detroit Auto Show returns to Detroit in January. Experience the world famous car show with your friends and family. This year there will be over 20+ attractions, events, and shows all about vehicles and the ever-growing technology behind them.
The Detroit Auto Show returns downtown with a transformative, next-generation event that will take over downtown January 14th to January 25th. The event will be anchored at Huntington Place (formerly COBO Hall). Show visitors can expect more opportunities to interact with the latest vehicles and technologies, including indoor tracks.
New this year, a high-energy atrium activation welcomes families into the show with an experience that celebrates Detroit’s role as a global hub for mobility, technology, and innovation. The atrium brings together interactive partners including the Michigan Science Center, Code 313, Pit Lane Sim Racing, and a kid-focused Power Wheels track presented by Jeep and Ram.
Guests of all ages can explore real-world science and engineering concepts, dive into coding, problem-solving, and augmented and virtual reality–based technician training and experience the performance and precision behind motorsports through high-end sim racing. For younger visitors, the Jeep and Ram Power Wheels track offers a thrilling, age-appropriate first connection to vehicles and mobility—creating early sparks and lasting memories at the Detroit Auto Show.
Plan your visit for the exciting return of Racing Day at the Detroit Auto Show on Tuesday, January 20th. The special events will feature some of the top stars of motorsports, along with championship race cars, fun family activities and one of the most prestigious trophies in auto racing.
