Looking for one of the biggest thrills of the summer? The Quadzilla Water Slide is officially back for the 2026 season at Stony Creek Metropark, giving families the chance to race down one of Michigan’s tallest inflatable water slides while spending the day at one of Metro Detroit’s favorite beaches.

Standing an incredible 50 feet tall and stretching nearly 300 feet long, Quadzilla features four side-by-side lanes so friends and family can race to the bottom together. Whether you’re chasing bragging rights or simply looking for a fun way to cool off, this giant inflatable slide delivers excitement for kids, teens, and adventurous adults alike.

Located next to Eastwood Beach, Quadzilla is the perfect addition to a full day at Stony Creek Metropark. After conquering the slide, families can cool off with a swim, relax on the sandy beach, build sandcastles, or enjoy lunch from the nearby concession stand. The beach area also features a playground, making it easy to spend an entire day exploring everything the park has to offer.

Want even more adventure? Rent a kayak, canoe, paddleboard, pedal boat, or rowboat and explore the 500-acre Stony Creek Lake. The park also offers miles of scenic hiking and biking trails, shaded picnic areas, fishing, nature trails, and wide-open spaces that make it one of Metro Detroit’s best destinations for a summer family outing.
