Start making plans for the perfect suburban staycation – The Great Campout in Farmington Hills is back for another summer camp season this June.

The 18th Annual Backyard Farmington Hills Campout is back! For one night only, Heritage Park is transformed into a campground, giving families a chance to give camping a try while remaining close to home. Pitch your tent and set up your site any time after 1 pm on June 1st, then explore the outdoors or take part in their camping activities that provide fun, excitement and education on what it means to camp and what families can do in the Great Outdoors.

Afterwards cozy up by the campfire and enjoy their s’mores kits and cook your marshmallow over Farmington Hill’s biggest campfire! Registered campers will also get free entry into our Great Campout Raffle for a chance to win prizes sponsored by Dick’s Sporting Goods. A hot dog dinner and a pancake breakfast is included and will be provided to all registered campers thanks to our partners and sponsors at Busch’s Fresh Food Market. Additional concessions will be available for purchase at the Camp Store. One tent allowed per campsite. 6 people maximum per site.

Registration is now open for The Great Campout on Saturday, June 1st at Heritage Park. The price is $35 for residents and $40 for non-residents.
