Growing up, I loved our family trips to the drive-in. We got to stay up late, eat in the car and enjoy two movies (if we could keep our eyes open). This popular pastime has made a massive comeback in the last year and the Macomb County Drive-In Movies is back for its second season later this month.
The Macomb County Drive-In offers a safe socially distant activity for families and a fun outdoor gathering option for friends. For $25 per car you can enjoy a night out. Arrive as early as 5:15pm to get your spot, dinner from a food truck and snacks for the car. It’s a good time for everyone and there are restrooms if you need them.
Start making plans for a late night and stay late for a double feature! The first movie starts at 6pm and the second at 9:30pm. Each movie is $25 per car. Here’s the May 2021 Schedule:
- Friday, May 14th: E.T. + Back to the Future
- Sunday, May 16th: The Greatest Showman + Spider-Man Far From Home
- Friday, May 21: Moana + Jaws
- Sunday, May 23: E.T. + Back to the Future
- Friday, May 28: The Croods A New Age + Jurassic Park (1993)
- Saturday, May 29: Trolls World Tour + Jaws
- Sunday, May 30: Incredibles 2 + Avengers End Game
