Mini Maestros Family Concert Series

Six Mile Strings (March 16 at 10:30am) How do instruments make sound? What is a violin bow made of? Come learn all about the string family of instruments and explore the world of music in a fun and playful way with Six Mile Strings! The quartet of friends from Detroit join together to create a magical experience for children and families alike.
Earth Day Celebration with Joe Reilly and Friends (April 20 at 10:30 am) Can you hop like a frog, flap your wings like a turkey vulture, or make a face like a dinosaur? Celebrate Earth Day and the arrival of Spring with singer songwriter, Joe Reilly and friends in a program of environmental songs for kids of all ages. Move, dance, and allow yourself to become the animals, plants, and water in the music!
Sean Dobbins and Friends (May 18 at 10:30 am) Get ready for a morning full of moving and grooving as we take off on musical adventure with an interactive concert experience that will be sure to get families dancing, singing, and making long-lasting musical memories! Sean Dobbins, a Detroit-based jazz drummer and music educator, will take you on an exciting musical adventure where children and adults alike will learn all about the foundations of jazz, rhythm, improvisation, and more!
The series is aimed to provide an engaging and interactive concert experience that will be sure to get families dancing, singing, and making long-lasting musical memories! Be sure to arrive early to experience a pre-concert instrument petting zoo and a musical make-and-take craft.
The first concert in the family series was Miss Paula and The Candy Bandits, which brought candy-coated punk rock music to The War Memorial.
General admission adult tickets for the Mini Maestros Family Concert Series are $10; children 17 and under are $16; and military/veteran tickets are $8.50.
Bunny Brunch
Get ready for some egg-citing Easter fun at The War Memorial!
Hop on over to The War Memorial this spring and surprise your little one with a visit from the Easter Bunny while you enjoy a delicious Sunday morning brunch with your family.
The War Memorial’s Bunny Brunch is set for Sunday, March 24. New this year is the addition of a second seating option at noon. The first seating is at 9:30 a.m.
Following the brunch, our friend the Easter Bunny will welcome everyone down to the back lawn for a one-of-a-kind helicopter egg drop, also new for 2024! This egg hunt will be one to remember!
In addition to the egg drop, professional photographer, Miranda Hopkins, from Inner Circle Photography will be on-sight capturing your family’s visit with the Easter Bunny – ensuring a stunning keepsake to cherish for years to come. Each family will receive a complimentary QR code link to an online gallery to download your photo after the event.
Reservation includes a full gourmet brunch buffet, a helicopter egg drop and hunt, a goodie bag for each child to fill at our Sweets-n-Treats Bar, a visit and photo with the Easter Bunny.

Campville USA
Mark your calendars! Campville USA returns to The War Memorial this summer June through August! Explore, play, learn, and grow in our series of mini camps for kids and teens, ages 5+.
Summer is what we do best! From cooking classes to fashion design, STEM inspired camps to arts’n’crafts, our summer camps will inspire children all summer long. Our camps, workshops and programs help foster independence and confidence, even in our youngest participants! Learn something new, build new friendships, and create lifelong memories at The War Memorial.
New additions to our line-up this year include Camp Invention and our Taylor Swift Craft Camp by the Friendship Factory!
