Uncle Sam Jam summer carnival and conert is this week but it’s not the only reason to visit Woodhaen this summer.

Where To Go

Civic Center Park has it all. Start your day at the northend of the park and let the littles run around the new inclusive playground featuring three large structures and smaller objects for kids to climb on. There are plenty of swings and Safety Town with mini houses (it makes for a fun game of family hide and seek). The splash pad is a hit for kids of all ages with plenty of greenspace, shaded seats and tables for parents to sit and watch from the sidelines. Restrooms are available as well.

If you want to play a game there is bocce ball, horseshoes, tennis and pickle courts, a football field, and baseball diamonds. Walk along the paved trail or drive to the southern end of the park for a disc golf course, sand volleyball court and skate park. There’s also a small playground for kids and a dog park.

Where To Play

Beat the heat and have a blast at Rev’d Up Fun. They have an indoor playscape, bumper cars, laser tag, ropes course, VR Arena, arcade and more!

Younger kids will enjoy Mandee’s Funtastic Play Center. It’s perfect for parties or playdates (low-key so you can sit and relax), admission is $10 for walkers, $5 for crawlers and you can get 10 passes for $75.
