Grand Rapids Lantern Festival

The Grand Rapids Lantern Festival at John Ball Zoo is spectacular. There are hundreds of illuminated object and displays throughout the entire zoo and It’s most magical when it’s dark and with longer days, the earlier you make it out the earlier in the evening you’ll be able to enjoy it. It only runs thru June 16th and an easy 2 hour drive down 96. We highly recommend you check it out.
