Saturday, April 6th

The Henry Ford Museum: 20900 Oakwood Blvd, Dearborn

  • Touch-A-Truck season starts at The Henry Ford this year! To celebrate the Paw Patrol: Adventure Play exhibit, the museum is bringing real life trucks to pup fans to enjoy for FREE on Saturday, April 6th. Kids can climb in and explore public service vehicles, construction trucks, Huron-Clinton Metroparks’ Mobile Learning Center, the U.S. Coast Guard and more! The Touch-A-Truck is Saturday, April 6th from 10am to 1pm. A special sensory-friendly experience will be offered from 9am to 10am, you can email [email protected] for more information.

Sunday, April 7th

Temple Beth El: 7400 Telegraph Rd, Bloomifled Hills

  • Get ready for a wheelie good time at our Annual Touch-a-Truck shindig! This year, buckle up for a truckload of fun. It’s a community party for all ages, promising a spring day full of joy. And guess what? Your ticket comes with lunch! Tickets are $40 per family.

Sunday, April 21st

Southfield Parks and Recreation: 26000 Evergreen Rd, Southfield

  • Kids of all ages will have a fun afternoon getting up close and personal with all the vehicles used to get work done throughout the City of Southfield. From BIG trucks like semis, fire engines and wreckers to smaller work vehicles like police cruisers, snowplows and more. Vehicles will be staged throughout the north parking lot (near the Parks & Recreation Building) of the Southfield Municipal Campus. This free, outdoor event will take place from 1pm to 4pm. The first hour will be a Sensory Sensitive Hour with no flashing lights, no loud noise, and quiet zones away from the action.

Friday, April 26th

Drake Sports Park: 6801 Drake Rd, West Bloomfield

  • Toot toot Touch-A-Truck is here! Don’t miss your chance to get a firsthand look at police, fire, construction and other special vehicles we see every day, but don’t get the chance to explore up close. Timeslots begin at 4 pm. Please note the 4 pm timeslot is our sensory friendly session. Tickets are $7 to $9.

Saturday, May 11th

Department of Public Services: 851 South Eton, Birmingham

  • Learn about behind-the-scenes happenings at the Department of Public Services during their Open House event, scheduled for Saturday, May 11 from 10am to 2pm. This annual event is a family favorite with DPS trucks, fire trucks and equipment on display, informational exhibits and complimentary grilled hot dogs and other refreshments!

Saturday, May 18th

Bingham Farms Elementary: 23400 W. 13 Mile Rd, Bingham Farms

  • Touch-A-Truck is a hands-on family event, an opportunity to experience a variety of vehicles up-close and learn how we all benefit from their service to our community. The event will run from 10am to 2pm with a quiet hour from 11:30am to 12:30pm. Suggested donation to is $5 per car for the Birmingham Youth Assistance.
