What was yesterday really like? How simple was that simpler time? There’s a place where history comes to life and you’re part of the experience. It’s Crossroads Village, our one-of-a-kind collection of restored 19th century buildings, amusement rides and authentic narrow-gauge railroad. Here you’ll see what life “way back when” was all about. From the smithing of the iron to the churning of the butter to the pressing of the cider. And so much more.

Imagine what a ride on the Huckleberry Railroad can do. Each 40-minute journey behind our authentic steam locomotive takes you along the shores of Mott Lake, down a stretch of the historic Pere Marquette roadbed and back into the heart of Crossroads Village. Or discover the surprise waiting for you at the Village dock.  It’s the beautiful Genesee Belle, a replica of the paddlewheel riverboats that were popular during Mark Twain’s time, and you’re invited on board for a scenic 45-minute cruise around Mott Lake.

When you’re looking to travel back in time – and make new memories for tomorrow – Crossroads Village and Huckleberry Railroad is fun the whole family can enjoy.

Each year Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad is open for the summer season from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, for Halloween Ghosts & Goodies on select days through the month of October and for Christmas at Crossroads Holiday Magic on select days starting the Friday after Thanksgiving through December. Check the rates and info page for each program for detailed information on dates and program details.  Crossroads Village is closed all other times of the year.
