Located in the heart of Southgate, the Downriver Family YMCA has is a fully equipped community facility. Basic features include two indoor swimming pools and an outdoor Splash Park, a state-of-the-art Wellness Center, full-service locker rooms including a family locker room, a full-sized gymnasium, group exercise studios, indoor track, conditioning rooms, and a rock climbing wall. We have three swimming pools available for members: the Indoor Pool, the Indoor Therapeutic Pool and the outdoor Southgate Splash Park.

Care is provided for children between the ages of 6 weeks and 12 years while parents are in the facility exercising. There is a two hour time limit per child. Space is limited and a waiting list will be taken (first come, first served) during peak hours.
