The Neighborhood Club of Grosse Pointe is a non-profit community service organization providing a professionally-organized program of leisure time activities for families and individuals of all ages. Activities are conducted in its community center and other public buildings and play fields. The primary service area is the five Grosse Pointes and Harper Woods. Programs are subsidized by proceeds from the Neighborhood Club Thrift Shop and by contributions from the community. Reasonable participation fees are assessed according to the service priority determined by the board of trustees. In 2013, the Neighborhood Club Recreation and Wellness Center opened, offering a state-of-the-art fitness center, warm-water pool and multi-use gym to the community. The Neighborhood Club Preschool is also in the Center.
