The Kitchen Crew is the first of its kind in Detroit, offering cooking classes catered specifically to children. It was founded by Cora Cowles, a native Detroiter, and mother to two young children herself. Kids learn best when they are engaged and having fun. Classes at The Kitchen Crew are designed to facilitate interaction between children, forging new connections and friendships, all over food. Problem solving, improvisation and creativity are just some of the outcomes when kids cook together at The Kitchen Crew.
